Back To School:

A Workshop For Parents

Join us as we cope ahead for the school year !

This workshop will be equal parts supportive + therapeutic, for parent with children in elementary school ( grade 1-8)

This group will draw on a community connection model amongst participants, integrate clinical strategies to support parental mental health and provide a safe space to process thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Here's what we'll cover:

- How to soothe your own nervous system for co-regulation

- Setting intentions for the Fall

- Determining priorities + values

- School communication

- Tips for transitions and soothing worries

- Reflective experiential practice: "Connecting with your kid"

Details:

  • August 21st from 12pm-1:30pm

  • $50 per person

  • Facilitated virtually through Jane, a secure web based healthcare platform. Link will be sent 1 hour prior to our start time

  • Receipts provided should you have extended health care coverage for Social Work ( MSW) or Psychotherapy.
