Catalyst Therapy is a Community Practice offering Clinical Social Work to Individuals, Families, The Community, and Health Care Professionals. The foundation of all that we do at Catalyst is Relationally Based. Meaning that the therapeutic relationship between the Therapist, Client, and Community is the core of our practice. This relational experience significantly enhances evidence-informed treatment interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT, EFT) and improves outcomes in Psychotherapy and treatment.

Lisa has been practicing in the field of Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health for 15 years. She has a Diploma in Child and Youth Work ( Humber College), an Undergraduate Degree in Child and Youth Care ( Ryerson University) and a Masters Degree in Social Work ( Wilfrid Laurier University). She has practiced in a wide range of intensive treatment programs across Canada and has developed and implemented programs which have had a significant impact on the landscape on Children’s Mental Health across Ontario. Lisa has received training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy ( Linehan Institute & CAMH), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy
