A deeply relational approach to healing

With attachment theory as the guiding framework to my practice, coupled with the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and polyvagal theory, clients are held within the safety and container of the therapeutic relationship to explore the parts of the themselves that feel both raw and resilient.

This multifaceted therapeutic journey not only alleviates symptoms of anxiety and depression but also enhances relational dynamics, fostering a deeper sense of connection both within oneself, with others, and in communities.

Lisa Azzopardi | CYC, MSW, RSW

With 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have encountered a multitude of stories, each uniquely shaped by personal circumstances, resilience, and the human experience. My journey in mental health has been shaped not only by professional training, but most importantly by the deep relational work of the lives I have been privileged to support + witness throughout my career.

I have seen firsthand how empathy and challenging one compassionately through curiosity can facilitate growth + healing. The stories shared in sessions are held in the strictest confidence, treated with the utmost respect and compassion, as they reflect profound experiences of vulnerability and strength.

Offering you a safe space to feel + process.

Therapy is a deeply intimate space. As such, I work compassionately to build relational safety and connection through an informed framework of attachment and polyvagal theory. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’m here for you. I trust you’ll know when you’re ready.

See you online.
