Individual Therapy (Adults)
Engaging in Individual Therapy allows for the opportunity to work through a range of emotional, interpersonal and psychological challenges that may be experienced. Committing to individual therapy can also help with learning effective coping strategies, improving communication and making meaning out of both your life challenges and accomplishments. Individual therapy can create momentum, help gain motivation, make room for acceptance, and develop mindfulness strategies to support healthy living. Examples of what may lead someone to engage in individual therapy can include: anxiety, depression, fear, grief and loss, trauma, thoughts of suicide or suicidal behaviour, body image concerns, sleep troubles, transition and adjustment challenges, sexuality concerns, relational challenges, self-esteem, identity struggles, significant life changes, physical health crisis, etc.
